Payroll Controller

Israel (Hybrid - Haifa or TLV or Rehovot)

Breezometer's CFO is looking for an experienced payroll controller to join our fast-growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll from the process and system aspects, working closely with HR, Legal, and Accounting, and being the focal point for all payroll-related inquiries.

Location: in our HQ in Israel – Haifa/Ramat Gan (Hybrid).

Reporting to the Financial Controller

Responsibilities

What you will do in Breezometer 

  • Manage payroll from the process and system aspects, for all of employees in Israel.
  • Be the focal point for all payroll related inquiries.
  • Work closely with HR, Legal and Accounting, in managing the operation processes for employees, including attendance, on boarding of new hires, terminations, implementation of Breezometer vacation policy, etc.
  • Work closely with pension agencies and manage mandatory benefits
  • Prepare payroll journal entries and month-end payroll accruals

Requirements

  • Certified Senior Payroll Controller in Israel.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and legal regulations for payroll & benefits
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience running payroll, and in managing payroll & attendance processes within a dynamic rapidly growing global organization with over 100 employees – a must
  • Proven recent experience of at least 2 years with Michpal payroll software – a must
  • Certified bookkeeper with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Moderate Excel skills – a must
  • Recent experience using Hilan's salary system – an advantage
  • Experience working using Priority – an advantage
  • Great interpersonal skills and a positive approach.
  • People person, services and process orientated
