We take the average of each pollutant type according to local government definitions.
A scientific formula is used to calculate the AQHI for Hong Kong based on 4 different pollutants (PM2.5/PM10, O3, NO2 and SO2).
AQHI (HK) represents air quality levels according to the following health categories:
